CITRINE 'SUNELA' OR GOLDEN TOPAZ

It is semi-stone (up-ratna) of Brihaspati.
The wearer is protected from fear while asleep. It is a light golden yellow or reddish yellow variety of crystalline quartz. It is a transparent stone & may be mistaken for Yellow Sapphire due to its close resemblance in appearance with Topaz. It can be easily distinguished from Topaz on account of its softness & lighter density.

Citrine, a golden-hued stone, relates to the third chakra, which deals with self-esteem, the appropriate use of personal power, and abundance.

Note: People often use it as a substitute for yellow sapphire but ,we have no faith on citrine that it has effects as sapphire.
